PTLW, or Project Lead The Way, is a non-profit organization aimed at giving students from elementary to high school an easily accessible way to explore career paths in STEM fields and learn real-world skills to excel in their future jobs. PTLW’s core values are togetherness, inclusion, learning, and customer centricity, which create a caring and judgment-free environment for students to participate in hands-on learning without fear of failing in front of others. Below are some of my projects that I completed during my completion of the PLTW Engineering pathway:
I implemented a majority vote using boolean algebra and logic circuits using multiple circiut design methods.
I created a working number generator using capacitors, timers, and combinational logic design.
I worked with my team to CAD and program a full elevator prototype using feedback control systems.
I worked with my team to CAD a design using Onshape to elegantly meet the required mechanical advantage constraints.
I worked with a partner to create a unique three-wheel solution to create a reliable motor car, while looking stylish at the same time!
Using Fusion360, I designed an animated automata and customized it based on a Kobe Bryant theme.
